Getting Your Program Listed on Harmony Central
Here's how to have your program appear on Harmony Central. You don't have to do this, but it will greatly increase the chances that the program will get added, and probably much faster too. So here we go:
Provide an Abstract
We also need an abstract that will help people decide whether or not they want to download out the program and try it out. Much of this can come out of the readme files, but please try to trim out any excess and make sure it has the following information:
- Program name, and version number.
- Operating system.
- System requirements (memory, DLLs, hardware, etc.)
- Freeware/Sharware status (including fee if applicable)
- A brief description of the program, highlighting its major features. If it is a demo, state what features are disabled.
- If you are the author, you can optionally include the your name and contact information
Send Us the Information
You can just email us the abstract, and for the program itself, either include a download link where the binary can be retrieved from, or in the case of small files, include it as an email attachment.
Send the message to software@harmony-central.com. And if you can, please try and keep Harmony Central informed of any updates - we don't want to have outdated files around.
Thanks,
The Webmaster
