1. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter The Harmony Central/Digidesign "Win Your Own Recording Studio" giveaway/sweepstakes, sign up for the "Win Your Own Recording Studio" giveaway/sweepstakes on the above page and submit your e-mail address in the space provided. When you are done, click on the "Submit Entry" button found above the official rules copy. Sweepstakes begins on September 6, 2000 and you may enter any time before 12:00 PM, October 6, 2000. Only people who sign up for the event will be entered in the sweepstakes. You may unsubscribe to the newsletter at any time and retain eligibility for the sweepstakes. If you are currently on the Harmony Central Digest List, you must re-submit an e-mail address to be eligible. Sponsor(s) (Digidesign, Inc. and Harmony Central, Inc.) are not responsible for late, incomplete, lost, delayed, garbled or misdirected e-mail entries. Only one (1) entry per e-mail address is accepted. The owner of the winning email address will be considered the winner of the sweepstakes. 2. ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible, entries must be received by 12:00 PM on October 6, 2000. Entrants must complete the entire registration form. Entrants who fail to submit all fields and/or click on the "Submit Entry" button will be disqualified. The Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States, aged eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees of Sponsor, the prize manufacturers, their affiliated companies, advertising agencies, subsidiaries, and/or promotional partners, any other company involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of the Sweepstakes drawing, and their immediate families are not eligible to win. Entrant agrees to not knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Sweepstakes and/or prevent others from using the Sweepstakes.
3. SELECTION OF WINNER: The winner will be drawn at random by Sponsor on or about October 9, 2000. Winner will be notified by e-mail, and winner must respond within 72 hours to claim the prize. Failure to respond within 72 hours forfeits the prize and another winner will be chosen. All prizes claimed will be awarded. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. No substitution or exchange of any prize is offered, no transfer of any prize to a third party is permitted and no prizes may be redeemed for cash. The winner's name will be kept on file for (1) year following the Sweepstakes. Sponsor shall be deemed the sole interpreters of the rules and conditions. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants acknowledge and agree to be bound by these official rules. All decisions of the Sponsor are final.
4. PRIZES: A total of One (1) prize will be awarded as follows: One (1) grand prize of one (1) Digi 001 (approximate retail value - $995.00) and one (1) Motor Mix (approximate retail value - $995.00); Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $1990.00. All applicable state, federal and local taxes and other expenses not specifically set forth herein are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Winner will be required to provide his or her United States social security number for tax purposes. All federal, state, local, municipal and provincial laws and regulations apply.
5. AFFIDAVIT OF ELIGIBILITY AND LIABILITY/PUBLICITY RELEASE: By accepting the prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, picture, voice, biographical data and/or likeness in advertising and promotion materials by Sponsor without additional compensation. Winner is required to sign and return a claim form, an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within ten (10) days of notification to Sponsor at "Harmony Central Attn: Affidavit", 1801 Page Mill Rd., Bldg B, 1st Floor, Palo Alto, Ca 94304. If the winner fails to sign the affidavit and release the prize may be forfeited and another winner may be chosen. All prize claims, affidavits of eligibility and liability/publicity release will be verified by Sponsor.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By accepting the prize, winner agrees that Harmony Central and Digidesign, Inc., their respective parents, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion, and public relation agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, representatives and agencies of each (collectively "Sponsor") shall have no liability whatsoever, for any injury, damage, loss, accident or death incurred in whole or in part from acceptance or use of the prize, or participation in this Sweepstakes. Further, Sponsor accepts no responsibility for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, rerouting or acts of any government or authority. Sponsor makes no warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use and enjoyment of any of the prizes, including, but not limited to, their quality, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Any person who supplies false information, or is otherwise determined to be in violation of these rules in an attempt to obtain any prize will forfeit any prize won and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
